Portable USB 3.1 Hub Turns Your Device’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 Port into a Workstation
This USB-C adapter with Power Delivery (PD) Charging expands the potential of your tablet, laptop, Chromebook, MacBook, smartphone or PC’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It’s ideal for adding a thumb drive and other USB peripherals, powering and charging a PD Charging-compliant mobile device, and connecting to a Gigabit Ethernet network—all at the same time.
PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Chromebook, MacBook Pro or Other Device
The USB-C PD charging port provides power and charging to the connected PD Charging-compliant device (such as a MacBook, Chromebook or Android smartphone). Connect the device’s AC wall charger to the USB-C PD port, which supports power input up to 20V 3A (60W). That’s sufficient wattage to fast-charge, sync and power most high-capacity devices, including the MacBook Pro.
Note: USB-C PD port does not support Quick Charge (QC)
Connects USB Peripherals and Transfers Data at Fast USB 3.1 Gen 1 Speeds
Three USB-A ports transfer data at speeds up to 5 Gbps, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0, between your device and up to three USB peripherals, such as a flash drive, printer and keyboard/mouse. The USB Battery Charging (BC) 1.2 port provides power output up to 5V 1.5A (5W) for charging a connected device. The USB ports are backward compatible with previous USB generations, so you can continue using older peripherals while getting high-speed performance from new devices.
Note: Host must support USB OTG (On-the-Go)
Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network
The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (Tripp Lite N201-Series Cat6 cables sold separately), and enjoy true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.
Reversible USB-C Connector Attaches in Either Direction
Unlike traditional USB cables that connect in only one direction, the reversible USB-C male connector plugs into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port in either direction for a fumble-free connection every time.
Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately
The plug-and-play USB-C dock is specifically designed for use with the MacBook Pro, Google Chromebook Pixel and other laptops, tablets and devices equipped with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It requires no software or drivers. It’s smaller than a standard smartphone, making it easy to pack into a pocket, backpack or laptop bag for multiport convenience wherever you go.
